Finally arrested on morning of 14 July 1927 following attempted robbery at Sydney’s premier jewellery store Fairfax & Roberts, King Street. Image on left taken prior to appearance before Magistrate 8 November 1927. Image on right taken 14 July 1927 soon after arrest in Elizabeth Street, Sydney, attempting escape.
